Ronin Capoeira was founded in 2022 by Casey and Celeste Myers, (Professor Bonzinho and Professora Azul), both with over 20 years experience training and teaching capoeira. Their aim is for their students to be well-rounded and competitive in the art of capoeira worldwide, and to experience personal growth within their own lives and communities. Their mission is to give people young and old a place to belong where they can be authentic and appreciated; a place to foster the work ethic, dedication, discipline and passion for capoeira. As it has in our lives, we believe these skills will translate across an individual’s life, allowing them to live a more fulfilling, healthy, enriched life, no matter their field of endeavors.

Outside of Capoeira, Casey works as an Aerospace Engineer, and Celeste, a music educator. They have two children together, love spending time as a family, and playing video games, music, or hiking outside to relax.
